Pranati Modumudi

Master Student

Pranati is a first-year MS student in Computer Science at Columbia University, specializing in Machine Learning and Computational Neuroscience. At LIINC, they use EEG and eye-tracking to study human decision-making under risk and ambiguity, working to understand the neural mechanisms underlying choice behavior.

Before Columbia, Pranati worked as a Data Scientist at Disney Streaming, where they built production ML pipelines for causal inference and time-series modeling that served millions of subscribers. Pranati graduated from UC Berkeley with honors degrees in Data Science and Economics, where they were a Regents and Chancellor's Scholar and conducted research at the Redwood Center for Computational Neuroscience. Outside school, she loves love dancing, boxing, and eating.
