  • Rostral anterior cingulate cortex (rACC) is an integral part of the depression network.
  • rACC activity may predict antidepressant effect.
  • Stimulation of left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (lDLPFC) causes a reciprocal change in certain parts of the ACC.
  • We hypothesise that improvements in the method of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) delivery to the lDLPFC may produce an antidepressant effect.
