Curriculum Vitae

I am interested in building intelligent image analysis systems. Specifically, the focus of my research is on developing  robust and adaptive systems for medical image analysis which combine principles and computational strategies of biological vision  together with machine learning and traditional image processing/computer vision. To build such systems I am pursuing research in four specific areas; 1) Network Models of Visual Processing, 2) NeuroImaging, 3) Statistical Representation of Images , and 4) Machine Learning.

I am the Director of the Laboratory for Intelligent Imaging and Neural Computing (LIINC).
